FCC Angkor
Pokambor Avenue Siem Reap 1

Situated on the Siem Reap River, the FCC Angkor Hotel is 17 kilometers from one of Cambodia's most important temples, Angkor Wat. The sandstone temple was restored with with the support of the India government in 1986 because of its importance as a major Hindu site and in 1992 was designated as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Dating from the 12th Century, the temple is an excellent example of the high classical style of Khmer architecture and it has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag. Its extensive bas-relief wall sculptures of numerous Hindu Devatas also make it an internationally important art historical site. Guests from the hotel regularly ride bicycles to Angkor Wat from the hotel, which is situated in the colonial town of Siem Reap.
The hotel building was formerly a French diplomat's house. A jewel of the property is the Visaya Spa, where guests can inhale the steamy aromas of homegrown herbs and spices blended to promote holistic wellness. Therapies include herbal steam baths, sea-weed wraps and full-body massages. For dining, the FCC Angkor Kitchen, under the guidance of Head Chef Eddie Gibson, serves Cambodia cuisine - Fish Amok and Cambodian Curry, Papaya Salad and Fried Vegetable Spring Rolls with an internationally stocked wine cellar. Other hotel amenities include conference seating for 250 and full-service indoor/outdoor catering. Enjoy a cocktail over a game of pool on the imported Brunswick billiard table. The FCC Angkor Hotel also houses a photography art gallery, which exhibits work of the region.
Tall trees provide shade for the 29 guestrooms, which are decorated with a sleek contemporary feel and come equipped with modern conveniences, such as LCD flat-screen televisions and high-speed Internet access.
